The International conference of research on China’s rural land legislation is a large-scale international conference to be held from April 25 to 26,2008. This conference is initiated by the Research Center of China’s Rural Land Law (RCCRLL), an institute of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL).

The conference is subsidized by “Research on China’s Rural Land Legislation”, a Momentous Project on Philosophy and Social Science of Ministry of Education. Many famous domestic experts on law, economics and sociology will be invited to the conference, and some famous experts in China’s Taiwan district, Italy, Portugal and Argentina will also be invited.

The subjects of the conference cover the ownership of rural land, the right to the contracted management of rural land, the circulation of the right to the contracted management of rural land, the right to use of house sites, the protection of women’s land interests in the countryside, and so on. In addition, the legislative reference of  the corresponding fields in China’s Taiwan district, Italy, Portugal and Argentina are also parts of the subjects.
